User Agreement

This User Agreement governs your use of Hroice, a lightweight AI comic style image generator developed to provide users with image conversion and creation services. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all terms of this Agreement. The App does not require account registration or login to use, and we strictly adhere to the privacy principles of not collecting facial information.

1. About the App

Hroice offers a seamless creative experience, allowing users to upload any image and convert it into classic American comic style works with one click—including retro hero, street graffiti, and American-style storyboard themes. The App’s AI technology intelligently retains the main features, colors, and key details of the original image, while infusing the work with a strong American comic visual tension. The entire UI of the App adopts an immersive American comic hand-drawn style, where icons, layouts, and dynamic effects are all aligned with comic aesthetics to ensure a zero-threshold operation experience. Users can export high-definition watermark-free works, and the App operates on a “free trial + in-app subscription” model to meet different creative needs.

2. License to Use the App

• We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with this Agreement. You may use the App’s core functions—including image upload, AI style conversion, preview, and export—without account registration, and enjoy the corresponding services provided by the free trial or subscription.
• You agree not to engage in any behavior that violates the normal operation of the App, including but not limited to:
  • modifying, decompiling, disassembling, reversing engineering, or otherwise attempting to obtain the source code of the App;
  • using plug-ins, cheats, or other third-party tools to interfere with the App’s functions or data;
  • tampering with the App’s interface, features, or content without authorization;
  • or using the App for any purpose that may damage the App’s system or affect other users’ experience.

3. User Conduct and Content Specifications

• When using the App, you are solely responsible for the images you upload and the AI-generated works derived from them. You agree to abide by the following specifications:
• The images you upload must be legally owned by you or you must have obtained sufficient authorization from the copyright owner. You shall ensure that the uploaded images do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, or other legitimate rights and interests of any third party. The App’s AI will only process the main subject of the uploaded image for style conversion and will not collect, extract, or store any facial information, whether from the user or individuals in the uploaded images.
• You shall not upload or use images that contain inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content, including but not limited to content involving violence, blood, vulgarity, discrimination, hatred, or illegal activities. We reserve the right to restrict or stop your use of the App if we detect such content, to protect the overall user experience.
• You shall not use the App to generate works for commercial purposes without our prior written consent, unless you have subscribed to the commercial-use plan. For non-commercial use, you may share the generated works on social platforms or other channels, but you must ensure that such sharing complies with the relevant specifications of the sharing platform and does not violate the rights of any third party.

4. Ownership of Content

• You retain full ownership and control over the images you upload to the App and the AI-generated comic-style works. We do not claim any ownership rights to your uploaded images or generated works, nor will we use, share, distribute, or publish your content for any purpose without your explicit permission.
• The App’s AI technology, software, interface design, icons, animations, and other intellectual property rights are owned by us. You shall not use, copy, or reproduce any of these intellectual property rights without our authorization.

5. Free Trial and In-App Subscription

• Hroice offers a free trial service for all users, allowing you to experience basic AI comic style conversion functions. The scope of free trial functions may be adjusted from time to time, and we will notify you of any changes through in-app prompts.
• To unlock all comic styles, higher-resolution export options, ad-free services, and other premium features, you may purchase an in-app subscription through official channels. The subscription price, duration, and renewal terms will be clearly displayed before you make the purchase, and you can choose to subscribe on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
• Subscription payments are processed entirely by the respective app store platforms, and we do not collect, store, or process any of your payment information. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app store platform where you made the purchase; the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current subscription cycle, and no refund will be provided for the remaining period of the active subscription.

6. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

• We strive to provide stable and high-quality services, but we do not guarantee that the App will be free of errors, interruptions, or delays. The App’s AI style conversion effect may vary depending on the quality, content, and characteristics of the uploaded image; we will continuously optimize the AI algorithm, but we do not guarantee that the generated works will fully meet your expectations.
• We are not liable for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from the following situations:
  • your violation of this Agreement or relevant specifications when using the App;
  • the uploaded images infringing upon the legitimate rights and interests of third parties;
  • the use of generated works for inappropriate purposes;
  • or service interruptions caused by force majeure, technical failures, or third-party service issues.
• We reserve the right to update, upgrade, or modify the App’s functions, content, or services at any time. We will notify you of major changes through in-app prompts, and the updated functions or services will be governed by this Agreement unless otherwise specified.

7. Agreement Updates

We may revise this Agreement from time to time to adapt to changes in the App’s functions, user needs, or technological developments. Any revised Agreement will be posted in the App through a prominent notification, and the updated version will take effect immediately upon publication. By continuing to use the App after the update, you agree to be bound by the revised Agreement. We recommend that you review this Agreement periodically to stay informed of any changes.

9. General Provisions

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and us regarding your use of Hroice, replacing any prior verbal or written agreements. If any part of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will still remain in full effect.
